We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of several hotels in the Kalamazoo area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotels' facilities and equipment while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.

• Coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
• Ensuring all equipment and systems are in good working order and comply with all safety regulations.
• Managing the maintenance budget and ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the maintenance department.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the hotel's facilities and equipment are in optimal condition.
• Hiring, training, and managing maintenance staff.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Prefer to have General Contractor experience.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to work independently and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
