• Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application
• Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close
• Secure property and loan documentation to process mortgage loan files such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records
• Assure that loan files meet banking and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion

• Maintain an accurate pipeline of all assigned loans and reverse engineer deadlines to ensure needed tasks are done and docs received on-time to facilitate an on-time closing
• Ensure received documents meet requirements such as income and asset documentation

• 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
• High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
• Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
• Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans required
