Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable about the product
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
- Answer questions about the products
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
- Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
- Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
- Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Expand business reach through networking techniques
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations
- Track and identify areas of improvement
- Meet designated sales by customizing marketing strategies to sell insurance products to businesses or individuals
- Conducting market research to determine a target audience’s needs, wants, habits, interests, and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing events
- Researching previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn’t, and what can be improved
- Reviewing the progress and success of an event, making adjustments, or pitching ideas for new events as necessary
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the standard types of life insurance and insurance plans, including term life, whole life, universal life, variable life, variable universal life, simplified issue life, guaranteed issue life, final expense, and group life, current life insurance policies, policy requirements, laws, and regulations
- At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry in a management or supervisory position
- Great interpersonal, communication, leadership, and management skills
- Must have series 6, 63, 26 licenses, 65 and 66 licenses desired
- B.A. in business or finance
Compensation
$112,000 - $123,500 yearly

Your level of success will be determined by several factors; including the amount of work you put in, your ability to successfully follow and implement our training and sales system, engage with our lead system, and the insurance needs of the customers in the geographic areas in which you choose to work. This position is commission only. We prefer those with past sales experience but with the right attitude and work ethic, are open to training the right candidate without sales experience.
