Responsibilities
- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
- Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
- Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current
- Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
- Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
- Utilize your life insurance knowledge and expertise to educate clients on the importance of life insurance and recommend suitable coverage options.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' financial goals, family dynamics, and risk tolerance.
- Present and explain life insurance policies to clients, highlighting the benefits, features, and costs associated with different options.
- Collaborate with underwriters to facilitate the application process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and assistance throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product knowledge to deliver the highest level of service and advice to clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and generating leads through networking, referrals, and other marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policies, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Adhere to industry regulations and ethical guidelines while promoting a positive and professional image of Unitrust Financial Group.
Qualifications
- Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor’s degree is desired
- Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued
- Skilled with Microsoft Office
- Valid Life Insurance Agent license in the relevant state(s).
- Proven experience as a licensed life insurance agent, with a strong track record of sales success.
- In-depth knowledge of various life insurance products, including term life, whole life, and universal life.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to help individuals and families protect their financial well-being.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficiency in using insurance quoting tools, CRM software, and other relevant sales technologies.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

$131,000 - $147,000 yearly
