Cardinal Settlements is looking for an experienced licensed Title Agent. If you have experience using the Qualia Title Software that is a plus! Compensation:

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

• Manage the entire real estate closing process from start to finish, including but not limited to maintaining compliance with real estate contracts, lender instructions, title requirements, company requirements, and other written instructions.
• Direct processing of file from open to packaging out.
• Create a seamless and enjoyable closing experience for all parties involved.
• Respond to calls and emails from lenders, sellers, buyers, their agents, and other parties daily 'Review completed title work and collaborate with our title department to verify clearance items.
• Understand the escrow process to determine what steps need to be taken to transfer the title of property pursuant to the conditions called for in the real estate contract and lender instructions.
• Provide prelim CD to lender.
• Draft documents for closing (other than lender documents) 'Thoroughly explain closing documents at the closing table.
• Serve as a notary for necessary documents.
• Assists in hiring closing processors and additional staff as needed.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience examining titles in PA is preferred
• Experience examining titles in other states is desired
• Knowledge of Qualia Title software preferred
• Knowledge of Datatrace is a plus
• Proficiency in Google Products
• Understanding of basic underwriting procedures
• Complete understanding of terminology and documents related to the title search, title chain, and property ownership
• Ability to build effective working relationships with customers and organizations; exceptional follow-up skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to take initiative when making decisions and problem-solving
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple simultaneous tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Must be learning-based and open to accepting new challenges/responsibilities in our quickly-growing organization
• Ability and experience with reading ALTA's and closing statements are a Must
