Our well-established team is looking for a motivated and experienced title agency manager to join us in achieving our goal of providing consistently excellent closing services to our clients. We are looking for someone who is research-driven, loves efficiency, and has a keen eye for detail. You will be the first employee for a title company affiliated with a large brokerage in the area, so it will have pending deals and be cash-flow positive from the first day. Responsibilities
- Issue title policy and transfer title ownership after reviewing all closing documents to ensure title commitments have been satisfied and preparing a closing statement
- Work in tandem with a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, title insurance agents, escrow officers, law firms, settlement agents, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies throughout the closing process
- Conduct property search to check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud
- Present deed to new owners after recording all legal documents at the county and federal level
- Analyze liens, plat books, contracts, agreements, surveys, maps, public records, and leases to verify ownership, legal description, and restrictions
Qualifications
- Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- College degree preferred- high school diploma required
- 3-5 years of experience in title closing, title examiner, abstractor, or closing services is required
- Requirements for state licensing must be met -- title producers license is ideal
Compensation
$50,000 plus bonuses
