Assistant to Real Estate Listing Specialist

Due to growth, Dave Friedman, voted the best realtor in Charleston, is seeking an Assistant to our Lead Listing Specialist to help our clients throughout the sale of their property. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping families and individuals during this exciting time in their lives.

The ideal person should be an organized and decisive self-starter. We are looking for a high performer who is a persuasive, outgoing and positive people-person.

The Assistant to the Lead Listing Specialist is an individual who is willing and eager to help the Team grow and assist in the necessary activities to move our listing department to the next level. This person relishes the opportunity to build, implement and manage multiple systems with minimal supervision. The Assistant to the Lead Listing Specialist is deeply committed to completing tasks the right way with a high degree of quality, attention to detail and consistent communication. This person has immense focus and can do one thing for a long time without getting distracted. This individual may exhibit some drive and desire to influence; however, the overriding marker of his/her behavior is persistence and stability.

The Assistant to the Lead Listing Specialist is deeply committed to supporting our Listing Department in achieving greater and greater levels of success, and to growing his/her own skills and developing into a supportive leader within the team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining high-level client satisfaction through positive communication and a steady execution of listing-related tasks.


What will you do?

These are the standards a well-above average performer will maintain or exceed:

  • Negotiate repair addendum's by communicating efficiently with co-op agent and clients.
  • Negotiate appraisal and CL100 results effectively.
  • Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of each listing so you can readily provide information to inbound inquiries.
  • Provide clients with vendors to prepare their home to list.
  • Write and prepare Real Estate contracts.
  • Stay on top of minor details and communicate effectively with all parties to the transaction.
  • Input inbound leads into our Kunversion CRM.
  • Conduct and present CMA’s and ensure project is printed.
  • Check and respond to lead listing specialist's email and voicemail.
  • Oversee all aspects of sellers transactions from initial contract to the executed purchase agreement.
  • Prepare all listing materials: pre-listing presentation, listing agreement, sellers’ disclosures, comparative market analysis, pull online property profile, research old multiple listing service (MLS) listings, prepare counter-offers, etc.
  • Obtain all necessary signatures on listing agreement, disclosures and other necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate showings and obtain feedback.
  • Provide proactive weekly feedback to sellers regarding all showings and marketing activities.
  • Coordinate all public open houses and broker open houses.
  • Input all necessary information into client database and transaction management systems.
