Philadelphia Center for Psychotherapy

At the Philadelphia Center for Psychotherapy (PCP), we are looking to hire a Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our team for a hybrid (in-person and remote) position. This position will include the provision of psychological services for individuals who struggle with various issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the possibility of supervision of Master's and Doctorate level trainees in the future. At PCP, we value your time and your mental well-being, just like we value that of our clients; that's why the workload is not intense, and you will not be expected to work more than 30 hours per week in total for a full-time position. This is a fee-for-service position that will offer you a range of potential earnings of up to $124,000 per year for a full caseload of patients.

  • Deliver psychological services to adults and children, that will include individual and couples therapy, and sometimes psychological assessments.
  • Document all notes for each therapy session and supervision meeting by the end of the work day.
  • Maintain a minimum of 26 client hours per week on average for a full-time position.
  • Participate in weekly 1-hour peer consultations.
  • Maintain professional, collegial, and collaborative teamwork ethics that will be essential to the work culture at the Philadelphia Center for Psychotherapy.
  • Adhere to all of PCP's policies outlined in the offer letter.

  • Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • Active psychology license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in working with adults (experience working with children is preferred, but not required) with various mental health disorders and conditions.
  • Familiarity and experience with a variety of approaches to therapy (e.g., psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, IFS, etc).
  • Familiarity and experience with working with different populations and different clinical presentations.
  • Ability to supervise trainees with flexibility and humility.
  • Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Excellent communication skills, which are inherently critical to this type of career.
  • Flexible attitude that can be reflected in the ability to handle change and unexpected circumstances as they emerge.

$107,000 - $124,000 yearly
