Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Women's Specialty Private Practice
Flourishing psychotherapy private practice in Lakeview, The Loop, Andersonville, and online specializing exclusively in the psychotherapy needs of women, seeks Licensed or License-eligible Clinical Psychologist to join the team. The candidate would build a full-time caseload (25+ client hours/week) as a W2 employee with awesome benefits. The position is equally well suited for someone anticipating licensure in a few months to someone with 25 years of experience looking to make a positive change.
Looking for a psychologist who is passionate about working with clientele, as well as developing their own specialties within our expanding client reach (therapy with families, children, couples, adolescent girls). We're exploring adding psychotherapy services for children of existing clients, so if you like to see a combination of children and adult women, this could be a match for you! Also great for someone who would like to learn about the ins and outs of private practice, but isn’t ready to venture into solo practice. Or who just enjoys being part of a rich and collaborative team in their clinical work. Helpful to have a foundation in third-wave behavioral therapies, especially ACT, but not required. Even if you don't think you have the exact experience we might be looking for, we encourage you to apply since the fit is extremely important to us.
The candidate would be joining an established and supportive team! Benefits include competitive pay, with no upper limit (no max clients you can see), based on revenue generated, BCBS PPO health insurance, life insurance, 401k with automatic (nonelective) contribution, long term disability insurance, and a combo of lots of practice-related support + independence and autonomy.
At this time, the team has chosen to continue to be 100% virtual, however, if your preference is to conduct therapy in person, we are happy to set that up for you. In the future, we anticipate that we will on a hybrid model including in-person sessions in the office and online sessions that the therapist could conduct from their home.
Visit www.balanced-awakening.com for more information about the practice. Balanced Awakening believes strongly in creating an environment that incorporates flexibility, work-life balance, and self-care. Our employment contract does not include a non-compete, as we believe this supports our mission to promote professional autonomy and provide the best client care.
We are a psychologist-run psychotherapy niche practice for women, couples, and teen girls! We are passionate about creating an empowering space within this spectrum! We believe that our participants are the happiest and get the best care when our team members have an excellent work-life balance.
While also having the structure of a supportive team, you will have the benefit of being a W2 employee. We offer health insurance through BCBS PPO (practice pays 50% of your premium), practice-paid life and long-term disability insurance, and a 401k with a 3% nonelective contribution. We help you market yourself to attract that caseload of contacts with as much independence as you'd like!
