Who You’ll Work With

This is an Independent contractor position that reports to a clinical director. You’ll interact with co-workers and admin staff virtually.

• Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients
• Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care
• Refer patients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary
• Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
• Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs

More specifically, you will:

• Maintains a caseload of primary clients and is responsible for the management of those clients' care
• Submit session notes within 48 hours of the completion of the session
• Create collaborative and efficient treatment goals

• High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred
• CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required
• Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required

• Must hold a Current Virginia License as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (please do not apply if you are provisionally licensed)
• Have 1 year of post-licensure experience, preferably in private practice, and registered with CAQH.
• Potential to start sooner if paneled with the following insurance: Aetna, Carefirst, Anthem, and/or United Healthcare
• Knowledge and application of CBT and DBT
• Previous experience facilitating groups
• Positive Attitude/Solution Focused
• Excellent communication
• Attention to details

What Your Position may look like at ZRCS:

• Fee for Service for full-time and part-time clinicians
• Flexible Remote schedule
• 2 evening days or 1 evening and weekend
• Maintain client files following the company’s policies and procedures
