We are located in Central Phoenix and provide a broad array of services for adults in the area. We are looking for an ethical, intellectually curious, and driven therapist who wants to join our team! Our group practice gives you a place to develop helpful clinical skills, connect with like-minded mental health providers, and provide clinical services in our community.

The primary responsibility for this position would be to conduct psychological therapy for individuals who reside in long-term care facilities. People who reside in these facilities are medically compromised and also have comorbid psychological diagnoses. These diagnoses range from a simple adjustment disorder to more severe mood and psychotic disorders. These facilities are all around the valley, though therapists are clustered in specific areas to reduce drive time. We aim to have clinicians provide services at facilities near their home, minimizing the commute. Additionally, if there is a desire to see clients in our centrally located office, there is opportunity for this once you become fully credentialled.

Sentience Psychological Services employs several other clinicians, including interns, associate licensed, and fully licensed staff (Psychologists, Counselors, Social Workers). We currently have an opening for Arizona licensed staff: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

This position offers a clinical hour rate ranging between $55-$65. In addition to this, employee benefits include health insurance, accrued sick time, 2 weeks of vacation, accrued PTO, and several federal holidays. 

There are additional benefits. You would have the opportunity to make your own schedule. They choose when they see their clients. You will also be trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, which is one of the top APA-approved treatments for people with PTSD.

• Conduct Intakes and diagnose

• Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (must be licensed to work in the state of Arizona)
