Our clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current license as LPC, LMSW or LSCSW. Responsibilities include facilitating group sessions and teaching DBT skills in our intensive outpatient program. We prefer you have some knowledge in DBT therapy, but we will train the right person. You must be detail-oriented and have the ability to complete professional, comprehensive assessments and treatment plans in a timely manner. Supervision and support are provided weekly with opportunities for training throughout the year. EMR and digital tools are set up for an efficient and effective smooth-running office. Full-time clinicians are provided their own furnished office ready to decorate to fit their personality.

  • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care
  • Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status
  • Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients
  • Aid with crisis intervention for patients when they are in a state of distress
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills
  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree
  • Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting

  • Must hold a current license in MO to provide psychotherapy (LMSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Some evening hours are required with flex-time available
