Our beautiful wellness facility is looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our energetic, fast-growing team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and is experienced with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy.

Our excellent support staff takes care of the dirty work like laundry so you’re able to focus on client care and provide a superb healing experience. 

$40 - $60 hourly + Gratuity and Bonuses (depending on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities
  • Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results
  • Assemble products for the client’s skin and prep the massage table before they arrive
  • Oversee client plans and treatment progression, and maintain accurate treatment records
  • Provide added value to client’s with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance
  • Cultivate a welcoming work environment by making positive relationships with clients and staff

  • Represent the company in a professional and positive way at exciting corporate and promotional events
  • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, medical software, calendar, and scheduling software
  • Work with various tools including tablet computers, special purpose telephones, and personal computers

Work Activities

  • Respond to customer inquiries or complaints
  • Schedule guest appointments
  • Maintain client databases
  • Coordinate facility schedules to maximize usage and efficiency
  • Perform accounting duties, such as recording daily cash flow, preparing bank deposits, or generating finical statements
  • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety. pr hygiene standards
  • Plan or direct massage services and programs
  • Develop or implement marketing strategies
  • Sell products or services
  • Recruit, interview, or hire employees
  • Assess employee performance and suggest ways to improve work
  • Inventory products and order new supplies
  • Inform staff of job responsibilities. performance expectations, client service standards, or corporate policies and guidelines
  • Establish budgets and financial goals
  • Train staff in the use or sale of products, programs, or activities
  • Participate in continuing education classes to maintain current knowledge of the industry
  • Direct facility maintenance or repair
  • Verify staff credentials, such as educational and certification requirements
  • Schedule staff or supervise scheduling
  • Check massage equipment to ensure the proper functioning

Qualifications
  • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent degree
  • Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology
  • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred

  • Knowledge of clerical, customer, and personal service, administration, and management
  • Successful completion of board-approved Massage School, Massage Program, Transfer Program or Apprenticeship Program. RCW 18.108.070. (See WAC 246-830-430 for additional information.)
  • Current Washington Massage License (comply with requirements in chapter 18.108 RCW and chapter 246-830 WAC.)
  • Holds current Malpractice Insurance
  • Holds current CPR/First Aid cards

Compensation
$40 - $60 hourly
