We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Central Phoenix! Sentience Psychological Services is a group practice that has a variety of mental health professionals. The job will be to provide clinical supervision to associate-level staff and students who see adult clients. And, you will have a choice of engaging in a broad variety of other work. There is an opportunity to conduct compensation and pension evaluations for veterans and social security disability evaluations, all of which only include conducting a clinical interview and the MMSE. There is also the opportunity to provide psychological therapy for a wide variety of clients. Our clients present with diagnoses such as adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, multi-trauma injury, chronic pain, major depressive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder, among other mental health conditions.
We are looking for a teammate, someone who can build our culture that facilitates warm and ethical care for our clients. Psychologists who have good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills do well at Sentience Psychological Services.
This job is a salary position that offers 2 weeks of vacation, accrued PTO/Sick time, time off on federal holidays, and health insurance. The position has remote opportunities.
- Provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed staff
- Offer therapy services
- Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes, and monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions
- Help identify potential illnesses related to psychological, emotional, behavioral, or organizational concerns
- Analyze and identify behavioral or emotional patterns that can assist patients in better understanding and predicting behavior
- Train staff on a variety of treatment modalities
- Conduct psychological evaluations
- Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills
- Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical/Counseling
- Licensed in the state of Arizona
