Enterprising business law firm on track for aggressive growth seeks experienced legal assistant to join our team, working directly with the owner to support the team and help our clients. The ideal candidate takes initiative, is a calendaring and organization mastermind, that has the confidence and experience to help the team think through and implement high-level planning strategy.  

$40,000.00 (and up, commensurate with experience), with preference given to a Florida-based candidate available to work from a Miami or Tampa Office.

We seek a legal assistant to provide strategic support to our team. 

We want someone who can prove to us he or she has these traits and is disciplined and is methodical about applying them. Our artistic and creative business clients usually call us with serious or frustrating matters, so we expect you to be the calming voice of reason when necessary. Communication–oral and written–is enthusiastic and positive, as well as refined and precise.

The position requires experience working with high performing white-collar professionals in a fast-paced environment. We want an organizational and management genius, and we mean that. This is not a stepping-stone job. We need someone whose goal is to be the go-to staff member in his or her office for solution-finding. The ideal candidate will have BigLaw or in-house experience.

The following will be necessary or useful to satisfy the responsibilities of the position:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant.
• Extreme comfort navigating technology, including seamless self-led orientation to differing software platforms. 
• Detail-oriented, prompt, professional, and efficient; 
• Confidence taking ownership of and managing a high-volume of responsibilities and deadlines;
• Excellent written communication (writing, research, and editing, etc.) skills;
• Protective of clients, our staff, and have good intuition. We are looking for someone who is self-contained and emotionally mature;
• Clear and professional communication via phone and email;
• Demonstrated history of working collaboratively with management and business teams to solve complex business problems; 
• Strong communication skills, presence, decisiveness, and poise; and, 
• English fluency (Spanish fluency a plus, but not required).
