We are looking for a paralegal with experience handling Family Law matters who has a passion for helping people who are dealing with some of the most challenging situations in life: divorce and custody disputes. Our clients often come to us at some of the lowest points in their personal lives and need an empathic, yet confident and assertive paralegal to assist our attorneys in guiding them through their legal situations. • Preparing “initial draft” pleadings for Complaints for Divorce, Permanent Parenting Plans, Marital Dissolution Agreements, miscellaneous divorce motions and pleadings, discovery responses, Adoption pleadings and Juvenile Court pleadings.
•  Working closely with the Firm’s family law attorneys to push legal matters forward.
• Interacting with clients, both in person, via email and over to the phone to assist the attorneys in handling cases.
•  Filing pleadings electronically on the Court’s electronic filing system.
• Maintaining calendars and scheduling for our attorneys.
•  Delegating work to and supervising legal assistants.
• Updating the Firm's practice management software on a daily basis, including documenting all "billable" and "non-billable" time spent on client matters.

• You must be detail-oriented, organized, follow instructions and maintain compliance with Firm policies, systems and procedures, especially the Firm's time-tracking policy.
