Legal Assistant - Bilingual
Established Personal Injury Law Firm seeks a Bilingual Legal Assistant. Minimum one-year experience required.
The qualified individual should understand the collection of records, bills, and CORs, dealing with settlement breakdowns and percentages, and how to disburse a Personal Injury file.
Prefer high-energy individuals who can work in a fast-paced team environment.
Bilingual - English/Spanish is a Must.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Confirming medical providers that clients have been treated with
- Balance verifications / reductions
- Preparing files to be disbursed, including spreadsheets
- Member of Reception Team
- Working one on one with Attorneys and the Case Management team
- Translating for clients and staff
- Client online reviews
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
- Minimum one year of experience with medical records and billing
- Minimum one-year reception experience in a multi-line phone environment
- Experience with spreadsheets
- Knowledge and experience of various Microsoft digital tools
