The Job

  • We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to be our next Legal Assistant.
  • What would a legal assistant do? Legal assistants are integral members of our firm who are responsible for ensuring our clients receive the best legal service possible. 
  • Legal assistants deal with clients regularly and engage in case management. 
  • Their primary goal is to provide attorney support by assisting with maintaining client files; drafting correspondence and other documents, and communicating with clients.


The Essentials

  • You must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • You must have a High School Diploma.
  • College or university credits are preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in an office setting is required but need not be a law firm. A college degree can be substituted for one (1) year of office work experience.
  • You must be a positive and uplifting person. If you see the glass as being half full, you are the type of person we are looking for! 
  • You must be competent and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word, at a minimum. If you are familiar with Practice Panther, Basecamp or Lawmatics, that is a plus.
  • You must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • You must be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right the first time.
  • You must be a team player. We are strong believers in the team approach and our office is a team environment. 
  • You must be able to talk to people in a manner that is polite, educated, and puts them at ease.
  • You must be compassionate.
