Affordable Attorney, Gerling Law Group
We are looking for a legal administrative assistant who can help the busy attorneys and paralegals at our law office assist our clients. You’ll be responsible for managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings, and ensuring our legal team is aware of upcoming deadlines. You’ll also assist with preparing legal documents, and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently. - Perform legal research, as needed, with help from attorneys and paralegals
- Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly
- Manage office correspondence and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, communicating with clients, responding to emails, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines.
- Assist with creation of various estate planning documents, probate pleadings and correspondence to clients or other vendors.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the team.
- Copy and scan documents
- Entering client information, substantial client contact
- Applicants must be able to type 50 words per minute or faster
- Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position
- Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or office environment as an administrative assistant or secretary
$16 - $18 hourly
