Our busy law firm is looking for a data-driven legal accountant to assist our established firm. If you have a passion for accuracy in all things numbers and reports and have prior experience working in accounts receivable and payable, we want to talk with you! We are looking for a qualified candidate who takes pride in all tasks, whether it’s with running financial reports, reconciling general ledgers, managing payroll, processing client billing, or preparing W-2s and 1099s. • Compare and adjust general ledgers, analyze financial reports such as income and loss statements, account reconciliations, and balance sheets
• Help with our end-of-year audit by running and analyzing various financial reports
• Handle both accounts receivable and accounts payable and distribute monthly client invoices
• Answer client inquiries concerning invoices and keep attorneys apprised of resolution

• Firm grasp of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
• 5 years’ related accounting, bookkeeping, or related field experience at a law firm or accounting firm
• Can maintain strict confidentiality when handling financial data
• You should have great detail orientation, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and gracefully under pressure
• Expert in MS Excel, data entry, and accounting software
