Premier Property Management Services manages over 450 single-family and multi-family properties for rent in the Louisville Metro area. We are seeking a leasing agent to join our amazing team and help balance a growing workload.

The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy fast-paced work, be reliable, and have a high degree of professionalism when working with rental leads and residents. The Leasing Agent is responsible for creating and maintaining successful relationships with residents and closing rental inquiries efficiently.

• Market properties available for rent with a goal of maintaining a 5-10% vacancy rate
• Contact rental leads; provide information about available properties and rental criteria
• Schedule and conduct showings at rental properties throughout the Louisville Metro area
• Oversee the resident application process, including collecting complete applications and fees, verifying applicant information, etc.
• Prepare, execute, and file lease documents according to company standards
• Organize and execute the move-in process for tenants: collect security deposits, schedule inspections, and ensure all necessary repairs are completed prior to move-in date
• Serve as the primary point of contact for leads, applicants and residents
• Maintain communication with other team members, providing regular updates regarding lead status, resident leases, issues, etc.
• Conduct move-out inspections and provide documentation to administrative staff for security deposit processing
• Assist with periodic property inspections as needed
• Maintain current property records, referral lists, etc. in PropertyWare system
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
• Familiar with leasing regulations

• Consent to background check
• Complete drug testing
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Have reliable personal transportation
• Ability to follow Fair Housing guidelines and other industry standards
• Competent in Google sheets, Google docs, and rental software such as Propertyware or similar
• Competent using an iPhone and tablet efficiently
