• Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.
• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
• Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
• Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point of sale system

• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to suggest and explain beers on tap to customers
• Intelligently talk about beer and engage in conversation with bar guests
• Maintain neat, clean and organized bar area according to restaurant specifications; lift and empty bus tubs, prep and stock bar, clean glassware before, during and after-hours, remove floor mats, sweep and mop.
• Additional duties assigned by management (e.g. restock restrooms, cover sand box, water beer garden flower boxes, clean off beer garden tables, pick up corn hole bags, and assist other FOH and BOH team members, etc.)

• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
• Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
