Our busy Personal Injury Law Firm is actively seeking another Full-Time Paralegal/Case Manager.
The position is open immediately. We're looking for an organized, self-starter to join our team as a legal case manager and work alongside attorneys to achieve our clients’ goals. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our ideal applicant will have experience in personal injury case management and is skilled at drafting documents, ordering, organizing and reviewing medical records, and maintaining a complex case file. - Handle significant pre-litigation caseload from file setup and intake through demand negotiation, settlement, lien negotiation, etc.
- Handle moderate litigation cases as needed; drafting pleadings, discovery requests, disclosure statements, etc.
- Making and receiving calls; case related calls
- Drafting letters, and other documents related to balances, medical records, etc.
- Organizing, reviewing, and summarizing medical records
- Filing, Calendaring, other clerical and/or case-related duties
- Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed
- Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software
- Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency
- Two years of PLAINTIFF Personal Injury experience required for this position
- Must be able to work in office setting - this is NOT a remote position
- Hardworking, Team player. Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) is preferred
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions
