Our small 8 attorney Law Firm in downtown Dallas is seeking a part-time bookkeeper/office manager to work 3 days a week. You will work directly with the Partners of the firm to oversee office operations and perform all administrative and accounting duties.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Processing all payables and receivables, general ledger bookkeeping, bank deposits and account reconciliations, and handling petty cash
  • Monthly and periodic client billing
  • Processing payroll online, posting to GL, and processing 401k deferrals and matching
  • Main point of contact for all Insurance policy renewals, vendor contracts, IT and facilities issues
  • Prepare year-end tax reports for CPA and assist with PPP loan forgiveness process
  • Prepare and file Partner’s Quarterly Estimated Taxes
  • Maintaining and ordering office and kitchen supplies
  • Analyzing accounting information and preparing weekly cashflow/productivity reports and monthly financial statements
  • Employee on-boarding, off-boarding, and maintaining employee files and employee database for employment verifications
  • Annual budget preparation and tracking of expenses against same
  • Prepare vendor and contractor 1099’s annually

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of proven accounting and administrative experience in a law firm setting
  • Familiarity with IOLTA accounts and the rules surrounding the same
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as Adobe
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Compensation
$28 - $36 hourly
