The Peña Law Firm is looking to hire a Part-Time Law Clerk for our Miami Lakes Bodily Injury office. We are a personal injury firm focusing our practice on the plaintiff’s bodily injury claims. The Law Clerk that we are looking to hire will work with our attorney and paralegals on various projects and cases. The support provided by the Law Clerk will require various clerical skills and attention to detail. We want a smart, responsible, high-energy, professional individual that is meticulous in their work.

An ideal candidate should be able to work 20-30 hours a week.

• Oral and written communication with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and clients,
• Filing of physical files and electronic documents,
• Initiating bodily injury claims with insurance companies,
• Review and analysis of client’s medical records and accounting files,
• Answering phones and making case-related calls.

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills

• Fluent in Spanish both written and spoken,
• Excellent spelling, punctuation, grammar, and handwriting,
• Experience with Dropbox, Excel, Microsoft, and Outlook.
