We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry/ public area attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Additionally, this position you will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel lobby and public areas in adherence with hotel standards.
- Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
- Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
- Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions
- Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low
- Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management
- Clean and maintain the hotel lobby and public areas in adherence with hotel standards.
- Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
- Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products
- Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
- 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired
