Legacy Outdoor Services is seeking candidates for a Landscape crew lead position. Ideal candidate should have prior experience in the green industry with an extensive knowledge of proper landscape and hardscape practices. Candidate will lead crew in day to day activities such as landscape installation, paver and flagstone installation, tree planting, mulching and clean up. - Work with fellow crew members to complete landscape construction, landscape instillation, and landscape maintenance
- Work with the construction superintendent to lay out projects and set daily expectations
- Communicate with the production department on scheduling and material deliveries
- Instruct crew members on tasks and ensure proper procedures are taken
- Write daily reports of work completed and relay that to the production department
- Ensure all work is completed to project specifications with proper materials
- Ensure the safety of all crew members and customers during construction
- Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment including blowers, chain saws, edgers, rakes, clippers, hedge trimmers, and lawnmowers
- Over 2 years of experience with residential or commercial properties as a landscaping crew member
- In good physical condition with excellent health
- Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
- Must have a U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site
