Cornerstone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced designer to add to our team in a part-time position with room for growth. Cornerstone Designers act as a concierge for homeowners through the remodeling process, from initial design concepts through selection and installation.

Cornerstone Remodeling is a custom design/build remodeling firm located in Ellicott City, MD specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and basements. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and expertise to our clients from design conception to final completion.

JOB TYPE:  

• Part-time (20-30 hours/week), with room for growth

• 2-5 years minimum of professional experience in the interior design industry
• Experience designing interior renovations from concept to completion, with a specific focus on kitchens and bathrooms (portfolio is a plus) 
• Highly proficient in design software (Preference for Chief Architect)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must be able to effectively communicate with fellow team members, clients, field personnel, and vendors.
• Ability to read construction plans and blueprints 
• Possess extreme attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Manage client expectations and satisfaction from initial consultations through final installation
