Game Master/ Junior Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a new team member for a creative position: game master and junior marketing assistant. We are one of Saint Charles premier, escape room locations. If you are not searching for a tedious, 9-to-5 office job, join our crew and have and share fun every day.

This position is ideal for students or somebody looking for scheduled part-time work. Weekends and some evenings are required.

Desired:
Junior Marketing Assistant:
Goal 1: Create marketing plans for various ticket and holiday specials to be used within our social media products. Present to the owner and implement.
Goal 2: Reach out to potential corporate customers presenting Contraptions as a potential venue for their team-building activities.

• Execute strategies created by and with marketing planning
• Create campaigns on selected social media channels
• Implement campaigns
• Optimize in managing campaigns
• Keep it synchronized through selected channels
• Competitor monitoring
• Press Monitoring
• Maintain consistent brand identity
• Report determine KPI’s supporting the business strategy

Game master:
Goal: Ensuring the teams and players receive a pleasant escape room experience, leave positive/5 star reviews, and book another game for the same day or near future.

• Run games
• Check equipment before the first game of the day
• Share the game rules
• Run games
• Take and send team photos after each game
• Discuss the game with the team {strengths, weaknesses, best moments, etc. }
• Reset rooms
• Encourage them to stay for another round bracket (motivation to review)
• Ensure all players are checked in
• Opening/closing building
• Cash handling

Daily maintenance:

• Goal: keeping premises very clean, and presentable
• Track stock levels are above the minimum for replenishable.

Cleaning:

• Go through the cleaning sheet to ensure all items are done

• Excellent Communication Skills for dealing with the public, businesses, and your team
• Graphic Design experience using Adobe Suite products or Coreldraw
• Social media master including Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok and Instagram
• Creative copywriting
• Blog post
• Social media post
• Organized in your workflow processes
• Computer Skills i.e. adaptability in mastering various programs we utilize for running and tracking game flow.
• Enjoys puzzles of all kinds
• Weekends and some evening availability

Nice to have:

• PPC add creators for campaigns
• Experience with Google, Yelp, and Yahoo maintenance and optimization

ConTRAPtion Escape Rooms began almost 7 years ago in Fort Collins Colorado. ConTRAPtions is an award-winning escape room business. Last year we purchased 2 Escape Room businesses located in St. Charles and Columbia Missouri. These stores have been re-branded as Contraptions Escape Rooms. We are updating and/or changing all Escape rooms at the new locations so this is an exciting time for players and employees.

We do things differently at ConTRAPtions meaning you don’t pick locks in our games. At our Fort Collins location, our games are all Generation 3 meaning full mechanical automation and no padlocks. A Fully immersive experience. We are transiting over to this technology in the Missouri locations. It takes time for this transition since we have so many different themed escape rooms.
