JUNIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY NEEDED
We are seeking an experienced state and federal civil litigator to join our growing firm. We are entrepreneurial, focused on aggressive growth, and are looking for an attorney who can hit the ground running to give our clients outstanding representation. Ideal candidates have experience in civil litigation including property law, construction, insurance, and personal injury.
Pay and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with skill and experience and is negotiable. We also pay for health insurance, continuing legal education, bar dues, and some voluntary bar memberships. Partial remote work is available.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Meet statutory deadlines
- Draft pleadings
- Meet and correspond with clients and opposing counsel
- Prepare clients for hearings and depositions
- Draft and respond to Discovery
- Draft and oppose motions
- Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
- Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of law practice experience
- Courtroom experience
- Excellent writing & oral advocacy skills
- Team player
