Tier 1 IT Support

You will sssist with the planning, implementation, maintenance and documentation of all area of our systems information network. You will provide assistance and training to all members of our corporate staff as well as our branch offices throughout the country. You will provide helpdesk support via phone, computer, and in-person utilizing our ticketing system for most issues related to hardware, software and peripherals.

Responsibilities

  • Work within our ticketing system (Spiceworks) to document work completed.
  • Work with our communication system (8x8) in setting up new accounts and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Work with our Email and SharePoint system (Office 365) creating and maintaining accounts.
  • Assist in provisioning PCs both locally and remotely (Windows 10).
  • Escalate issues to Tier 2 as needed setting expectations for co-workers, agents, and producers as to when a resolution for the issue can be completed (will work closely with Tier 2 and Tier 3 personnel).
  • Assist Tier 2 and Tier 3 with completing projects as needed. i.e., rolling out new applications.
  • While we typically work a 40-hour week there will be times that we will have to work off hours or additional hours to complete a time-sensitive project.
  • Work closely with other departments in the company.
  • Absorb as much experience as you can to be promoted in your job responsibilities (we are growing fast)
  • Maintain good working relationships with fellow co-workers as well as agents and producers in the field.
  • Treat coworkers and clients with respect and courtesy.

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle a lot of tasks each day.
  • Ability to complete your tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to speak with confidence and portray a level of knowledge to our customers
  • 1 to 2 years experience
