You will meet with residential and commercial customers to perform maintenance and repair of irrigation systems. You will use your knowledge and training to make recommendations to customers on additional products and services that may be needed as your complete a 35-point inspection of the property. The Irrigation Service Technician will also identify potential problems and discuss solutions and services with the customer and follow through with customers until all issues are resolved. Finally, you will work with General Manager to optimize production efficiency and ensure the highest level of customer service with an effective schedule and routes.

*While this is an hourly position, there is an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation.*

• Conduct a 35-point inspection of the irrigation system
• Install or troubleshoot smart irrigation controllers and set up zones for optimal water coverage
• Teach customers how to use the system in a friendly manner
• Meet or exceed monthly production goals as set by the General Manager
• Interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors in a professional manner
• Follow warehouse and equipment daily maintenance and cleaning standards
• Respond to customer's requests and complaints, make appropriate recommendations, and advise customers on how to improve their irrigation system
• Demonstrate expertise in the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems and related components including irrigation systems for turn-on and blowouts
• Complete cross-training in other departments to provide backup support
• Identify and discuss other services available under Heroes Lawn Care

• One or more years of experience in the irrigation industry and related principles/practices
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and mechanics of irrigation systems
• Ability to operate equipment such as trenching machines and digging tools related to grounds and landscaping equipment
• Able to perform with minimum supervision and direction
• Strong sense of teamwork and communication
• High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking
• Ability to complete company-sponsored training to enhance knowledge and skills
• Must have a clean driving record and pass an internal insurance background check to operate a company vehicle
