Trading and Operations Business Analyst- Project Manager
Provide onsite business analysis and project management for clients' financial application initiatives. Coordinate support and delivery from offsite team members
Responsibilities
- Work for OmniVista clients consisting of Fortune 100 Firms, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, and Asset Managers
- Work directly with the business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, identify gaps and drive robust, scalable solutions
- Lead training sessions for Portfolio Managers, Traders, Middle Office, and IT on OMS and Operations workflows
- Establish and maintain best practices in requirements gathering, testing best practices, development standards, and team communication on teams comprised of both firm and client team members
- Support client operations and workflows
- Establish, monitor, and maintain high client satisfaction levels
Qualifications
- Experience with multiple investment systems (i.e. Bloomberg, Charles River, Eze Castle, thinkFolio, Geneva, VPM, WSO, Markit EDM, Eagle, and CTM/OASYS) is a must
- Knowledge of the full order life-cycle, diverse investment strategies, complex derivatives, and trading compliance is preferred
- 3-7 years of experience at an investment firm preferred
- Must have the skills needed for business requirements gathering, project management, and user testing management
- Understanding of different project methodologies, Agile, SDLC, etc
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ideal candidate can react to a changing environment, enjoys a challenge, and is able to quickly gain the trust and confidence of diverse clients
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Investments preferred
Compensation
$100,000 - $150,000 yearly
