Premier Processing is looking to hire a Technical Support Representative to support our growing team! The Technical Support Representative will assess technical issues and offer support and assistance to employees who are using software, hardware or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers. Applicants should have a technical background, preferably with customer service experience. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues including but not limited to internet connectivity, email management troubleshooting, system logins and resetting passwords
  • Use information from employees to diagnose tech issues and walk them through the steps needed to fix various problems
  • Install and maintain hardware, software, and other equipment to meet client requirements, routinely observe operational performance, and install security patches and updates when necessary
  • Quickly identify problems, form solutions, and execute step-by-step troubleshooting procedures
  • Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, installation activities, reported issues, and completed solutions along with any further actions required of management or repair personnel
  • If employee tech problems cannot be handled, schedule a repair crew to fix problems on-site
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Set up computers for new hires
  • Accurately process and record issues using available tracking system and report to management on issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology
  • Working knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Proficient use of PC software applications, including Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experience with systems such as G-Suite experience and Facebook Workplace
  • Experience with email management troubleshooting 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Able to meet multiple project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Desire to learn, grow and have fun while delivering high quality work
  • Must be a detail-oriented quick learner

Compensation
$50,000 - $55,000 yearly
