Responsibilities
  • Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients
  • Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders
  • Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers’ satisfaction
  • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
  • Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs

  • Provide accurate and friendly customer service 
  • Actively and consistently pursue new prospect appointments through various outreach strategies 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners in the community 
  • Assess client needs and advise clients on coverage or products 
  • Provide quotes, pricing, and other information to prospective and existing clients
  • Monitor insurance claims to ensure they are settled equitably for both the client and the insurer 
  • Participate in professional development activities 
  • Manage onsite enrollment meetings with client's employees 

Qualifications
  • Candidates must have an insurance license
  • Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations
  • Proficiency with accounting or sales-related software is helpful
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required

  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience preferred 
  • PEO, HRIS, Payroll, Employee Benefits, or similar industry, Enterprise sales preferred 
  • Clean driving record
  • Active Florida Insurance License, or ability to obtain it within 60 days of employment 

Compensation
$45,000 - $75,000 yearly
