We want to add a motivated and personable new team member to one of our successful groups that specializes in the physician market with discounted disability insurance for residents. Are you a newly licensed insurance agent who would like to build a book of business of your own with a lot of room for growth in the future? Or a registered agent who has wanted to enter the hospital and physician market with your financial services practice? This is your opportunity!

The ideal candidate will be familiar with online and virtual prospecting and will have the drive to use leads to generate more business and production. You must have your Life and Health insurance license -- even if you were just licensed. As you pursue additional licensing to become securities registered, you can add additional production to a book of business that you own. This can be a great launching pad to jumpstart your career in financial services and build your own book of business faster. If you have considered a career in financial services, then this is a rare opportunity that will help you begin production immediately. It is a career that is based primarily on commissions and your own effort and performance, but there is additional income available to those new to life insurance. You will have the ability to increase your earnings each year with the residual streams of income from your book.   • Use email drip campaigns and online opportunities to enroll prospects with discounted disability insurance, while also offering life insurance and investment products depending on the client's needs
  • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs
  • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking
  • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met
  • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients


  • Valid L&H insurance license required, or candidates must be willing to get licensed before starting
  • Ability to prospect and generate leads and close sales
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required
  • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
  • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs
  • Enjoys working independently with strong time management and organizational skills

$50,000-$75,000 at plan commission
