Under the Insurance Agent Supervision, the Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for handling multiple types of customer inquiries, documenting customer requests, quote policies and completing changes to policies upon request. Continuous contact with customers through calls, emails, chats are required. 

To ensure success as an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you should have a friendly and professional demeanor, good communication skills, and the ability to promote all agency products. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation
$28,000 - $50,000 DOE
