We are currently looking for a custom window covering installer to come work for us providing top-notch service to some of Raleigh's elite homeowners. Our installers successfully execute the vision of our design consultants by carrying out the final stages of the client journey. Installer technicians need to be problem solvers, technical-minded, respectful, and motivated to grow their skills as the industry continually updates.

Generally, the workday starts around 8:00 am and goes until 4:00 pm. Occasionally, jobs may run over, which requires flexibility from our install team. We do not leave a job unfinished as part of our promise to our clients. Working days are Monday through Friday with the potential for Saturday if requested (but not required). Currently, we do not offer health insurance but we do offer 401k matching right away and PTO benefits. Compensation rate is determined by experience (not limited to custom window coverings).

• Professionally installing a variety of hard and soft window treatments including motorized/automated solutions and designer drapery in both residential and commercial settings

• Trouble shooting solutions on the job site if issues arise

• Collect balances due, instruct the customer on how to operate and clean their new window treatments

• Complete simple repairs, help communicate solutions to the office team

• Coordinate with the office, sales team, and vendors to resolve any difficult installs or issues

• Check-in freight, label, and organize deliveries in the warehouse

• Prior general carpentry/workmanship skills from any industry, ability to use a tape measure

• Able to work independently as well as with a team

• Friendly and respectful towards all clients - high-level customer service

• Ability to learn and install new technology, 60% of our business is installing automated products

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to fill out forms both handwritten and electronically

• Valid driver's license and insurance to travel using company vehicle to job sites

• Ability to pass a drug screen test and background check

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and climb a ladder up to 16+ ft
