Who are we looking for?

We don't "SELL" people houses, we serve, guide, counsel, represent and help people meet their goals. In the same way, even though we are looking for someone with a proven track record in “SALES”, we are really looking for someone who has STRONG aptitude and talent as a sales agent (and who has a proven track record of success), but who has the passion and desire to serve, guide, counsel, represent and help people meet their goals - we are looking for someone who doesn't just want to "tally sales" - we want a passionate person who sees each call as an opportunity to help home buyers and sellers meet their housing goals and want to be rewarded both personally and financially.  

We believe that our team serves home buyers and sellers in more effective ways than other REALTORS. We are looking for a person with sales skills to learn what buyers and sellers want and need so that, when the buyer or seller is ready to take action, the inside sales agent will then get them connected with our agents who have the commitment, tools, training and expertise to help them meet their goals. 

As REALTORS, we don't offer a one size fits all service!  Each seller we work with has unique needs and goals and each home we market has unique benefits, therefore our marketing strategy for each house is different so that we are most effective. Each home buyer has different needs, a different level of experience in the market and different wants. We build our relationship with each buyer so that we can guide them in the way that they need. We put the best tools, systems and people to work so they meet their goals.   

We feel the same way about our team mates. We are looking for extraordinarily talented and committed people who love to serve. This important team member will take ownership of Veenstra Team inquiries/leads, and will actively nurture and build trust relationships with buyer and seller prospects so that when they are ready to take action, we will be able to help them meet their goals. We have exceptional tools that will enable the conversion process to be systematized, yet highly personal and tailored to the client needs so that the inside sales agent manages the conversion process for maximum effectiveness. This person has the organizational, time management and attention to detail skills necessary to handle the constant flow of leads coming in. The inside sales agent will thrive with the goal setting and accountability implemented as part of the team culture and will be motivated by the subsequent documentation, assignment, and follow up of those leads.  

The Veenstra Team is committed to the success of each team member and will provide access to coaching and training by the top trainers in the field.  

This individual must be highly trustworthy and in complete alignment with our core values. In addition to being the first point of contact for the team, they will also have access to sensitive files and information regarding associates, customers, and finances.

The inside sales agent plays an important role in helping the team achieve greater and greater levels of success, as well as to growing their own skills and developing into a leader within the team. This person will have the opportunity for significant income for the right candidate through the combination of salary, commission and bonuses.  

  • Cultivate relationships to convert inbound calls and inquiries to appointments
  • Manage the "inquiries" database through the relationship cycle – nurture prospective buyers and sellers until they are ready to take action to meet their home purchase or sale goals.  This inside sales agent will employ a sincere caring, a listening ear, sound guidance, strong relationship building, continual follow up, encouragement and support.
  • Consult with real estate agents and transaction coordinator to ensure that our entire team is able to empower our buyers and sellers from our initial contact with them through the home sale/purchase.
  • Spend most of the day on the phone building these relationships
  • Spend a good amount of time learning how the Veenstra Team is different and learning the best ways to talk about those differences.  This person must be exceptional at delivering the Veenstra Team's value proposition and in creating the opportunity for the buyers and sellers to overcome challenges to meeting their goals
  • Qualify prospective buyers and sellers to accurately determine their ability, needs, time frame, desires in order to convey motivation, competition, and financial specifics to real estate agents
  • Manage our inquiry database to ensure processes run smoothly and there is rigorous buyer and seller prospect follow-up
  • Accurately track and report productivity and relationship metrics
  • Understand and internalize evolving real estate trends in local market
  • Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal laws regarding real estate brokerage services.
