Sentry Industries is looking for an Industrial Electrician with some mechanical experience in our acid bottling/packaging division. We have a great maintenance team to work with within our growing business. Sentry is a pool chemical supplier dedicated to serving South Florida and beyond since 1984. We strive to provide the best all-around customer experience in the business, and we are looking for a motivated, qualified individual to help grow our specialty chemical branch.
- Troubleshooting machinery to find and repair root problems
- Troubleshooting electrical panels including starters, relays, motors, VFDs, etc.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on packaging equipment and machinery
- Commissioning new equipment when applicable
- Identifying parts to order for active or future jobs
- Operate forklifts to maneuver machinery as necessary
- Documenting PM schedules for machinery
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
- 4+ years working in maintenance in a packaging plant or similar environment
- Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment, up to 240v
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus
- Experience with PVC plumbing is a plus
- Experience managing inventory is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
