Our Team is looking for a highly motivated, driven, and coachable Mortgage Broker to join our successful real estate team. We are a $200,000,000 per year business with a database of over 60,000 leads for you to work. The ideal candidate will have worked at a reputable mortgage brokerage, have centralized underwriting, have a firm understanding of economics and the industry, have a firm grasp on current and developing industry trends, be willing to prospect by phone daily, and possess a proven track record of matching lenders and mortgage products to potential borrowers. • Meet with potential applicants and buyers to determine each client’s specific lending or refinance needs
• Interface with mortgage professionals such as lender institution underwriters, closing agents, and the borrower’s real estate agent to ensure a smooth mortgage process
• Counsel applicants and home buyers on various loan products, buying or refinance process, prospective lenders, and lending guidelines
• Determine creditworthiness by obtaining credit history, assets and liabilities, income and employment verification, and performing a background check
• Apply for mortgage loan on behalf of homeowners by submitting completed loan application to lender
• Proactively stay abreast of mortgage industry trends and lending rate sheets; maintain strong relationships with mortgage lending sources / mortgage bankers, and establish referral relationships with real estate professionals
• Research competitive mortgage rates and interest rates, and negotiate terms to find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers

• Must attend the following 4.5 hours of Meetings & Trainings per week: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri - Huddles from 9a-9:15a | Wed - Team Meeting from 9a-10a | Mon - CRM Training from 9:30a-10a | Tue - Live Prospecting Training from 11a-12p | Plus one more hour of Training per week, to Team's discretion |
• Successful candidate is required to make a minimum of 25 outbound phone calls per business day as terms of continued employment.

• Up to date Mortgage License from the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA);
• Technical ability to be a high-level user of online resources and tools like CRM's, Shared Calendaring Tools, and Systems are a must;
