$200 Sign-On Bonus*

Responsibilities

  • Technical Service Requirements
  • Must possess an HVAC and a valid Class II license
  • Must be able to detect operational defects or faults in various kinds of HVAC equipment
  • Responds to both customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediately
  • Maintains maintenance logbook to record the equipment in need of repair and prioritizes efforts accordingly
  • Communicates maintenance issues and needed repairs to other shifts as necessary
  • Maintains rooms in operating condition by performing repairs as needed
  • Understands the Room Preventative Maintenance Program (R.P.M.)
  • Repairs and maintains heating/ventilating/air conditioning systems throughout the hotel
  • Maintains room PTAC units in operating condition by performing repairs as needed or by changing out the room unit with a spare unit
  • Responds to and attends to guestroom repair requests
  • Performs preventative maintenance throughout the hotel
  • Maintains operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks and repairs
  • Performs troubleshooting of hotel HVAC systems
  • Attends schools or seminars upon manager’s request to remain current on proper techniques and required licensing
  • Adheres to all hotel policies and safety procedures
  • Follows safety and security rules and procedures
  • Demonstrates knowledge in the safe use of all maintenance tools and equipment
  • Reports any hazards or injuries in the department or hotel and takes immediate action to correct
  • Ability to perform considerable amounts of physical activity on a continual basis

Qualifications

  • Organization: Demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time
  • Planning: Skilled in determining whether tasks should be attempted, identifying the most effective way of completing the task, and preparing how to overcome unexpected difficulties
  • Technical service skills: Demonstrate understanding of the technical service skills for assigned area (ie. food & beverage service, housekeeping, etc.)

Compensation
$25 - $30 hourly
