Houseperson - Maintenance

We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as an overnight Houseperson. You’ll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, cleaning public bathrooms, driving the airport shuttle, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. If you take pride in a clean space and love working on a team, fill out an application. This is a part-time position.

Only applicants that live in or near Helena will be considered for this position.

• Document areas cleaned and let managers know if major repairs need to be made
• Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Eliminate dangerous hazards and wipe up spills with squeegees or sponges
• Lock doors to ensure building security once cleaning is finished

• Great physical health and stamina
• 1+ years of experience as a janitor, cleaning crew member, or similar position
• Strong working knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Must have a U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification
