We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead our team and provide the best service for our guests as the next general manager of our busy hotel. Do you enjoy bringing new and creative ideas to help drive revenue and building strong relationships with guests to gain repeat business? Our ideal candidate brings a high standard of service quality along with at least 5 or more years of hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel management role. Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.
- Managing the hotel's budget and financial performance.
- Recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, staff, and local businesses.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Representing the hotel in the community and at industry events.
- Maintaining brand standards and ensuring that all aspects of the hotel's operations align with the brand's guidelines and expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation
$50,000 - $60,000 yearly
