Lark Hotels is seeking a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff at The Hotel Salem, located in Salem, MA. Are you friendly, dependable, and looking for a rewarding job? You might be just what we're looking for in a dishwasher! We need a hardworking person who can get in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. - Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine
- Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine
- Place utensils and dishes in proper storage areas after unloading the dishwasher
- Sweep and scrub kitchen floors to maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Participate in regular employee meetings to ensure all procedures and safety rules are followed
- Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Great physical health and stamina
