We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities who can provide our clients with an exceptional breakfast experience. Our hotel is busy, and we need a competent and experienced breakfast cook who can ensure that our meals are made precisely to our hotel standards while still following our recipes consistently. The qualified candidate will prepare breakfast, set up, and maintain the breakfast buffet. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with the hotel staff to keep things running efficiently. • Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules
• Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift
• Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products

• Prepare food for breakfast buffet, set up and maintain buffet
• Keep a daily inventory of all food and necessary serving items
• Accept and put delivery orders away when they are delivered

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
