This key position within the company is responsible for the human resources management function. The incumbent will be an HR generalist and will be called upon to lead all aspects of human resources management with an HR Coordinator reporting to them. The incumbent will offer an advisory role to the leadership team, managers and employees, who work mainly remotely, in order to optimize the human resources so that they are efficient, mobilized, engaged and satisfied with their employee experience. 


Talent and Human Resources Management:

  • Exercise an advisory role to employees, managers, and management for all human resources management files according to best business practices and employment standards
  • Supervise (full cycle of employment) the position of HR Coordinator
  • Update the programs and processes in place to ensure sound management of the company (e.g., workforce planning, performance management, talent development, etc.)
  • Management and coordination of the annual evaluation process
  • Structures the management of compensation and the implementation of a salary policy
  • Ensures the management of the attraction and the acquisition of talent: define recruitment needs, manage the recruitment and hiring of all new employees and coordinate the work of the HR Coordinator to ensure that the talent attraction corresponds to the strategic growth objectives of the company
  • Participate in the definition of talent development needs, define and respect training budgets, coordinate programming, and ensure its organization as required
  • Management of the employment cycle from onboarding to off-boarding
  • Manage various administrative tasks (e.g. management of employee files, coordination of job fairs)
  • Respond to specific needs according to the operational reality of the company

Employee Experience and Culture:

  • Contribute to making the company shine (e.g., employer brand management, change management, mobilization, attraction, welcome, and integration)
  • Supervise and update the onboarding process for new employees
  • Responsible for employee relations and well-being
  • Management of benefits and complementary programs
  • Survey employees and take the pulse on the culture and the level of satisfaction; make recommendations accordingly
  • Provide HR support for all employees (e.g. , advise when situations come up, immigration records, employee satisfaction management, etc.)
  • Ensure the health of the company's culture and implement concrete actions to maintain the targeted corporate culture


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a generalist in human resources
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines (CRHA) is an asset
  • Experience as head of the human resources function in an SME
  • Experience as a supervisor (hiring, performance assessment, potential development, full employment cycle)
  • Excellent knowledge of HR best practices
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English
  • Good knowledge of the Office 360 suite and HRIS software
  • Strong communication skills

$82,000 – $100,000 annually
