You'll solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking. This energetic sales manager will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competition behavior to discover and close business leads. • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and networking in the local community
• Plan and compile the department budget in accordance with the hotel's overall sales objectives and strategy, with the assistance of the director of sales and marketing
• Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan
• Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads
• Develop and maintain connections with important group and catering accounts in order to maintain and expand our market share

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired
• Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry
• Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Good organization and time management skills
