As a Garage door installer & tech, you will meet clients at their homes or places of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of garage door equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you’ll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using some power and hand tools to get the job done. • Arrange and attach electrical wiring according to the wiring diagram using hand tools
• Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment
• Enter completed projects and the parts used into database
• Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures

• Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring and high voltage connections
• Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required
