Do you like numbers *and* people? We're looking for a full-charge bookkeeper to handle or oversee all facets of a small business' financial operations. We are a large real estate brokerage with a small-office feeling. It's important that you also be able to work with agents, coworkers and managers to explain billing, financial reports and "number stuff" to non-number people.


This position is responsible for handling the basics of the company's financial record-keeping, including:

  • Recording financial transactions
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing payroll and annual 1099’s
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Compiling end of year financials for the company's Accountant

  • You should have knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. 
  • You should have good written and verbal communication skills, be organized and have an eye for detail. 
  • Associate's or higher degree in accounting or business administration a plus but not required, but if you have no formal accounting education, equivalent business experience is required.
